Sunflower Patches in Central Kentucky

As some of you may not know, a sunflower is my favourite flower; I enjoy visiting sunflower patches at local Kentucky farms, which is why I have decided to create this list for those of you who may be thinking about visiting a sunflower patch this year! Whether it be for photos, fresh cut flowers, or pure enjoyment.

Last year I visited Evans Orchard and Eckert’s, and they both grow excellent stalks of sunflowers. Evans also features a zinnia field that is just as beautiful; I only know this because I attended Evan’s Sunflower Festival in 2021! Below, I have curated a short point list with some of Central Kentucky’s best local farms that grow sunflowers!

Sunflower Patches – Mainly In Central Kentucky

If you check around, you may even see events for sunflowers and sessions that photographers are offering during sunflower season! I have already seen quite a few via Facebook!

Even if you go to enjoy or want to fool around and take photos with your friends, I also have a blog post that gives cute and brief ideas on poses to do in pictures at a sunflower field – click here to check it out!

Been to a sunflower patch this year – that isn’t on this list? Let us know in the comments! I am always looking for new farms to check out! If you enjoy being in the know for most things Kentucky and this kind of content, please consider subscribing to the blog, so you never miss another update!

These photos were taken this year (July 2022) at Evan’s Orchard! Just a little FYI!
