In this blog post, (Hi! It’s been a while, but y’all know I come alive in the autumn time) we will go over all the things we did, and everything Eckert’s Orchard has to offer this 2025 Fall Season.
Things to Do at Eckerts Orchard in 2025
Eckert’s Orchard is a staple for many who live in Versailles, and surrounding counties. They have many things to offer this year and I would love to talk about them. We recently went with our toddler son, and he had a blast – so let’s get into it!

Playground
Eckert’s Orchard offers a few different playgrounds and fun facilities for the kiddos. There are many hay and tunnel playgrounds for the littles, an actual playground with swings, baby swings, slide, and things to climb upon, and also a jumping pillow for the more older kiddos (older than toddler years anyway). They also, of course, still have their huge potato sack slide that is fun for all. My son had a blast.

Pig Races
They had some pig races going on that were so cute! Also done in a humane way where they give the pigs a lot of rest. The pigs were so cute, and this was a fun activity to watch with our toddler! He has a good time watching them.

Haunted Hayrides
Eckert’s offers haunted hayrides! We unfortunately didn’t get to do this as my son was super tired and I didn’t want to inconvenience the experience for others with my son grumpy and ready for bed, but it sounded like people had a really good time. They begin at 7:45 pm and the last wagon leaves for them at 9:45 pm. This was a very popular attraction!

Pick-Your-Own Apples & Pumpkins
Of course, they still offer visitors to pick their own pumpkins and apples! Another thing we unfortunately didn’t get to do as we arrived after 5 pm. On Saturdays, they seem to stop the wagons for Pick-Your-Own at 5 pm. So keep that in mind when you’re planning your trip here. But from the other visitors posts I’ve seen, they have a great crop this year and plenty of photo-op opportunities as well throughout the pumpkin patch. We usually have a great time picking our own pumpkins at their pumpkin patch, so we were sad we didn’t get to do that this year but we still had fun nonetheless.
If you don’t want to do pick-your-own, they do have plenty of pumpkins, apples, gourds, corn stalks, etc. you can purchase at the front of the shop!

Tractor Track for Kiddos
Another fun thing I saw was their little track with pedal bikes that looked like cute tractors! They even had some with a push rail in order to push younger ones on them (not pictured). Super fun activity if the adults wanna sit, rest, and watch their little one continue to have fun for a minute!

Crop Talk Corner
We may have arrived too late to see what this attraction was about, but I assume it is for comedy shows! Still super cute to see. If anyone has been to Eckerts and got to experience this attraction, please comment and let us know more about it and your thoughts!
Corn Maze
We went half way through, but then had to turn around. Toddler mom problems LOL. But it seems like a super fun maze, and what’s a pumpkin patch without one? It definitely seems well-done!

Animals/Petting Zoo
They have a petting zoo, and if you plan to feed the animals, bring quarters in order to purchase feed for the animals out of the feed machines they have. They also have hand sanitizer nearby! But I would personally bring your own as well as they run out frequently – but they are good about refilling in a quick manner. They had baby goats this year which were so cute to watch jump around!

Bonfires/Campfires
They offer bonfire rentals! For more details click here! I think this would be a super fun thing to do with the family for sure. Bring a few blankets, some s’mores stuff (they also have a S’mores shop on-site) and have a good time on the farm after the haunted hayride or before, while roasting s’mores at the campfire together!

Food & Drinks
They have their Apple Blossom Cafe and the Cider Grill with tons of food options! They have loaded mac n cheese, brisket sandwiches, cider slushies, and more. They take cash, and card/credit.
