CraftTucky – New Local Business in Nicholasville, Kentucky

There’s a new vendor market in town! Nicholasville, Kentucky is now home to a new local business called, Craft-Tucky and it is woman-owned and operated!

Craft-Tucky

About Craft-Tucky and What They Offer

Craft-Tucky is a vendor market offering handmade goods and crafts from local artists and small business owners. It’s important for me to add that this market isn’t just locally owned, but also women owned and operated by Traci Ackerman and Jaclynn England. The items range from every day items to unique handmade gifts – such as the boogie boxes – stringed instruments made from cigar boxes, built by Derrick Jay & Wren Night. You don’t even have to be good at playing the guitar to make one of those “bad boys” sound good as you shred out with it! I got to try my hand at a boogie box, and I definitely will be back to make my purchase of one!

The items you can find here range from a variety of sorts. Some that I saw include but are not limited to: gag gifts, key chains, personalized gifts, home decor, practical gifts, jewelry, etc. – this shop will have a little something for anyone and everyone. They are also looking forward to hosting events like, “paint and sips” so it’d be worth following them to check in on those in the future!

Their Location: 218 Edgewood Dr, Nicholasville, KY 40356

Opening Day – Seeking Vendors

This local vendor market will be officially opening in late December and is currently still adding additional features – such as an all exclusive “Veterans Area” where local crafters that are U.S. Veterans can display their items for sale at a discounted price. Jaclynn mentioned how important it was for Craft-Tucky to pay homage to the Veterans who have served our country and that crafting/creating things helps keep them going after war and even helps them through their PTSD which is why they’re offering this exclusive space in the shop. But of course, Veterans aren’t the only ones who can display their goods. Craft-Tucky is also still accepting vendors such as those who work with sublimation, vinyl, tumblers, and more! So if you’re looking for a space to display your locally made goods – look no further and see if your business would be a match for their shop! Contact them via email, crafttucky@gmail.com and/or phone number, (859) 247-2326.

STAY UP TO DATE on Craft-Tucky by following their Facebook page so you never miss an update or an event by clicking here. They also have an event coming up this weekend where you can take pictures with Santa! Click here for more details on that! They also have a TikTok account.

My Thoughts

I am so excited for this shop to be opening in Nicholasville. Lexington has a few vendor shops, so it was about time that Nicholasville followed suit! I have high hopes for this shop and they welcome everyone in and outside of Jessamine County to come check them out. Support local, shop small!
