Munchkin, founded in 1991, is a company that prides itself on products that aren’t only helpful for babies, but mothers as well. Their products range from baby items such as sippy cups, toys, tableware, and more to items for newborns and moms such as breastfeeding supplies like nipple shields, silicone pumps, and more. Munchkin was so nice to have sent some products for me and my little one to try out and review. We actually love this brand a lot in our house, so this was an awesome collab. Breastfeeding Supplies
They sent me quite a few items that relate to breastfeeding that I tried. These products would have been amazing to have had in the beginning, especially the nipple shield.
Munchkin Flow Nipple Shield
I love love LOVE the Flow nipple shield! This would have been a life saver in the beginning of our breastfeeding journey. Being able to see your baby taking in your milk in real-time definitely helps soothe any feeding anxiety a mother may have. This product is good for all breastfeeding moms, but I definitely suggest it for new moms who choose and or try to breastfeed. It’s easy to use, and comfortable as well. Easy to wash and store in the travel case it came with too! It claims to last throughout 200 feeds, I’ve used it for 5 of them to try it out, and it is very durable because my baby with teeth, has bitten down many times; the shield is strong and durable while also being comfortable for mom and baby.
Munchkin Silicone Pump
This is a great product to have for all breastfeeding moms! It has a cover/lid as well, which helps reduce the spill risk when transferring to store. When I use this, I take the top part of the pump, and suction it on (in a video on my TikTok, I show exactly how I do it) and baby nurses on the opposite side. The pump also comes with the lanyard that helps you keep it in place and near you. I haven’t seen any other silicone pump with a lanyard, so talk about innovation! I think silicone pumps in general are so helpful, especially when nursing and collecting let-down, but this one in particular is designed so well and it’s cute, which is always a plus. The silicone is that of a strong quality, and is comfortable.
Silicone Breastmilk Collectors
These collectors would have been amazing to have when I was 27 weeks pregnant. That is when I started leaking colostrum, and I could have collected it so easily with these collectors. Definitely invest in some of these during your pregnancy because it could be very useful to you as well when and if you start to leak that liquid gold! You don’t even have to suction these if you don’t want to, just situate them in a supporting bra, and go on about your day. I use these sometimes when I use one of my old motorized pumps that I use because it’s only one pump, so I’ll place that pump as if I’m nursing and then use one of these collectors to collect the let-down as so. Just like I do when I nurse.
Munchkin Sippy Cups
They also sent my little one two sippy cups. Below is the review for both of them!
Munchkin Any Angle Weighted Straw Cup and the Munchkin Miracle 360° Training Cup
These cups are so cute! We actually already owned a different colour in the weighted straw cup, so it was nice to get that in another colour we didn’t have! The training cup has been useful too. My son is 12 months and he’s getting the hang of holding and using his cups, and this cup has been great for teaching him how to drink from a regular cup. It’s easy for him to hold, and it can be closed, and opened. It is also hard to spill, making it perfect for dinner time when you’re trying to eliminate mess and clean-up. The weighted cup is also really good and spill-proof as well! It also has the option to close, or keep open.

Overall Thoughts
Overall, I enjoy Munchkin’s products and believe they have come a long way in the baby market. I recommend the nipple shield for sure, especially, because it is such an innovative tool for nursing moms who may have anxiety surrounding feeding their baby. Everything was also easy to wash which is also important as a pumping mom that has a lot of dishes everyday to do (LOL, IYKYK). Definitely check out their other products as well on their website that aren’t listed on this blog.
