As a parent, my primary goal is to soak in every moment and bask in the seconds that matter most in an attempt to memorialize them. However, those seconds turn to minutes and those minutes turn to hours before your eyes. I began taking photos of my family to create long-lasting memories, those that I know will outlive me. As a photographer, my primary goal is to capture the memories you create to memorialize them. To make them tangible artifacts to pass from generation to generation. The simplest of moments can be accentuated into beautiful mementos to enjoy for years to come.
I am a central ky based photographer who also travels, I got into photography because I absolutely love to capture those special moments between families and couples. When that moment comes when your grandkids look back on those photos and stories and love being told.
What I love more than anything is to be there to witness the firsts of peoples’ lives. The first time seeing your beautiful bride walk down the aisle to you. The first kiss and dance as husband and wife. First anniversaries. When you want to shout from the rooftops that you’re going to be new parents. When you first hold your precious baby. The times when they are cheered on to make a mess as they smash their one-year cakes. Their first school dances and sporting events. The exciting times of graduating high school and having the perfect photo for the senior yearbook. Then, hopefully, witness all of their wonderful firsts as adults.
People have spent years searching for their “why”. I am beyond thankful to have found mine.
I absolutely just love Capturing special moments and creating special moments for families to have forever! Photography is my passion and I absolutely love what I do!
I have always enjoyed taking pictures and was always so in love with all forms of art, so when I got into photography seriously I found that I could express my creativity and capture memories while doing so. As a mom, I have found out just how fast time flies and how important it is to have something to look back on, remember good times, and make that time stand still. I love taking bold, colorful pictures. I also love what I do because It has given me more time with my family!
I first fell in love with photography in a college Photojournalism class which led to me getting my first camera. Later, while working in marketing for a large company, I was trained by a professional photographer in portrait, event, and product photography which I used frequently in my job. Eventually, I ended up working for a Real Estate office where I discovered a passion for houses and got to shadow one of the best real estate photographers in Lexington. I then decided to start my own real estate photography business! Architecture is an art of its very own and I love capturing it in a way that makes it look its absolute best to help people sell their homes or market their Airbnbs.
I love weddings it’s my happy place to just celebrate such an important event! Photos are something that couples will cherish and their children and their grandkids and it’s special to be able to be a part of that.
